How Does A Newly Licensed Real Estate Agent In New Jersey Get Into Selling Commercial Properties?

I assume you have your license hanging with a licensed real estate agency. If not, then do that. If you join a firm that does investment and commercial properties this can definitely help.
What it really comes down to is yourself. You need to market yourself and network. You need to put yourself into situations where you come into contact with people who own, or want to own, commercial real estate. Start small and realize that most potential deals fail. That’s the nature of the business, the one or two that go through is where you make your money. Be patient….

You’re going to have to start from the bottom. Most major firms like degreed people. It is a bit cliquey. make some contacts.
