Commercial Real Estate Career evaluator?
I have experience in real estate lending, residential, retail and wholesale trade, but I'm thinking about moving to the commercial part of the evaluator. I am currently located in Chicago, which I think is the best place I could be with this line of work. Does anyone know what I have to do as much as mentoring, internships, etc.? I know I have to take classes and such, but what I read seems to be the "shadow" allow the evaluator to be assisted by one or some time before you can obtain the license. Besides, nobody do not know what to expect regarding salary position and / or Commission about it? I would like to work for the company and are assigned jobs, or would I'm looking for your own work? Any help is appreciated
I just got e-mail, and I was being sent to help others who may be examined to obtain the field as well. The first to become a fully licensed Certified General Appraiser class will have 300 hours, 3000 hours experience of at least 2.5 years and a move the state licensing exam. From 1/1/2008 I need more class time, 400 hours four years of college experience and 3000 hours of at least 2.5 years, including the emergence of a new state-administered test (rather than the current test). The first proposal is to base the assessment of the courses of the Institute in its pages have www.appraisalinstitute.org. You will be exposed to other students (the most of which are self-evaluators), which can help you along the journey. They are the job ads and offers the opportunity to join the local chapter and network with other professionals. As I said the company is very difficult. You should also find the evaluation itself all businesses and ship your resume to them too. You need not ask what you can get the time is residential or commercial work in the beginning, and is up there. Most appraisers and independent work for the Commission. However, the appraisers, who are banks, payable to the IRS. You can try and get my work is more commercial, but could be difficult because not licensed.
